Die „Exclusiv-Lizenz auf Gott“ vermeint die katholische Kirche also immer noch zu besitzen. Aber wer gegen die Lizenz verstößt, wird nun nicht mehr bestraft, jedenfalls nicht durch Entzug der „Unter-Lizenz“. Tja, was soll man dazu sagen. Lasst uns für sie beten.

Dabei ging es gar nicht um meine Beziehung zu Gott! Nachdem ich aber ernsthaft erläutern konnte, dass sich mein Trennungswunsch nur auf die Organisation und deren Bodenpersonal bezog, war man so gnädig und hat mich exkommuniziert :) was mich mit einem gewissen Stolz erfüllte. Nun bricht mein Weltbild zusammen – die Katholische Kirche zeigt Milde und macht sogar Exkommunikationen rückgängig?? Ich bleibe evangelischer Freimaurer und MEINE Bindung zum GBaW ist so eng, wie es enger nicht sein kann!

Recht hast Du, Philip, in Sachen Amtsschimmel in der Maurerei – wie froh bin ich, dass ich ungehorsam war und schon als Lehrling ohne begleitender Meister „ausländisch“ gereist bin: nie hätte ich, auf Zustimmung wartend, diese viele niederländische, belgische und österreichische Logen besuchen können.

Freimaurer. Aber weswegen ich schreibe: ich bin Niederländer und verstand, als ich in die BRD kam, nicht genug Deutsch um richtig auf eine Frage des Standesbeamten zu antworten:“sind Sie evangelisch?“… Was wusste ich, in Holland heißt das Protestant, wie ich später erfuhr. Da ich mit dem Wort nix anfangen konnte, sagte ich ja (ich war’s nicht). Später, als ich wusste was das Wort heißt, war ich natürlich nicht einverstanden und wollte das rückgängig machen – was nicht ging: ich musste aus der Kirche austreten, obwohl ich doch gar nicht drin war…! Es kostete sehr sehr lange Zeit, bis die Beamten des Amtsgerichts in der Lüneburger Heide überhaupt verstanden hatten, was Sache war. Eine nette Anekdote: der Deutsche Amtsschimmel ist also auch nicht viel anders als die kirchliche Instanzen
